Every October, there is a Covered Bridge Festival in Parke Country, Indiana. Almost every little town has vendors of some sort. Parke County is a farming county....the entire population of Parke county in 2010 was less than 20,000. But come October, starting the second Friday and lasting for ten days, things change. The Covered Bridge festival has been estimated to draw more than 2 million visitors,
cute in a stable-ish sort of way. :)
ReplyDeleteSo will you be showing it? Have you been before?
ReplyDeleteOne of these days I want to get inside the Mill and photograph it whilst it's running.
ReplyDeleteThat draws a huge crowd!
ReplyDeleteI love that photo, what a beautiful old building... will you go to the festival
ReplyDeleteThe crowd must be somewhat overwhelming the some of the locals used to having so much space to themselves. ;)
ReplyDeleteI sounds like the place to be in October when the bridge festival is on. A good picture of the folk art village.
ReplyDeleteLike the look of this building.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful old building. We visited Mansfield on the weekend too! Mansfield, Australia that is.
