One year we were taking our granddaughter home, and there was a box turtle in the road...we
stopped for it and I got out and held it up for her to see and touch.
That was two or three years ago, and she was talking about it as we were
taking her home.
We were so glad to all these turtles. Again we stopped...she had to unbuckle till she could stand up and see! And wanted to make sure I showed them to her mom.
Believe it or not, I have not attempted to count how many there were.
turtles always make me smile. glad lorelei likes them, too. :)
ReplyDeleteShe remembers it from that far back! I have never seen turtles on a log, only in pictures. Wish I could. You also got great reflections. What a treat for all of you!
ReplyDeleteWonderful sighting, Rose! I love seeing the turtles sunning themselves.. So cool to see them lined up in a row. I would love if your would link this post up to my critter party today.. Have a happy weekend!

ReplyDeleteTurtles are perfect for your theme "Time Stand Still." Not much movement there! Some of us could learn from them.
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to hear about her excitement over seeing turtles!
