A drive-by shot of a barn...it has almost become a babit to post drive-by shots for the Barn collective.
I think Roger paused for this shot, but I shot through the window...
The is the same barn, but I was out of the Rav to take it...the house is on the left side, just out of the view. the place is for sale.
This is in the feld beside the previous barn. I don't know if they belong to the same farm or not.
The first barn is near Marshall, Illinois, and the next two are just on the edge of town.
Thanks to Tom for hosting The Barn Collective!
the last one could almost be in texas (except i think it's still a little large by texas barn measure.) i really like the first one.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your barn photos, Rose.
ReplyDeleteMan, I'm a sucker for barns with rusty roofs. The last one speaks to me. Thanking for linking up this week. Tom
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job of capturing these great barns as you drove by and stopped along the way!
ReplyDeleteSweet shots!
ReplyDeleteWonderful images!
ReplyDeleteLove those big wide barns - and that little saggy shed in front of the first barn. Great shots.
ReplyDeleteThat last one could be in the Cambridgeshire Fens from the general untidiness. Except that when I went to photograph the area last time I found everything much tidier and smarter!

ReplyDeleteGreat collection of barns! The first two are my favorites. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteThose are grand barns. Lot of rust, chipped paint. Wonder what they looked like new. But, time marches on.
ReplyDeleteI like the second shot of this old barn, because it has the clothes line in it... grand old ladies
ReplyDeleteI like these...great captures.
ReplyDeleteThese are fine barn shots including the drive-by type. I enjoyed your barn pictures.
ReplyDeleteNo single barn are alike which makes this building very unique.

I like the weathered wood and rusty roof in the third photo especially. So much character!
