Digging in...

His face was just buried in the flower...it was as if he had to dig in to get down far enough for the good part.
I ever so gently tried to hold the stem to hold the flower still enough to get these shots.

    These are fine close ups of this fellow hard at work. I think he needs to get that close to get the good stuff.

    num, num num, that pollen is so good... i have the same problem here with flower pics, winds blowing them around on some days
