Another from the coneflowers...

This is from a few days ago.  But the bees are still busy at the coneflowers.  I took a couple or three shots when we got home this evening but have not downloaded them yet.

  3. Ouch! I believe this colorful creature is a wasp, Rose. More worrisome, in my opinion, than the bee. :-)

  8. This shot is excellent. Wonderful detail of the flower and the wasp who was visiting. I'm glad wasps have something to do besides fine humans to sting.
