Again I have chosen more barns from Tennessee...all taken on a day in April in 2011.
I wish I had a closer view of the barn in the distance. I love the looks of it.
Just a plain old barn with some fencing.
I liked this one because of the calves lying in front. ...
I am throwing this in just because. We used to have a mowing machine similar to this. I don't know what happened to it.

Great Rose! I love the rusty roofs and the weathered wood. They all look like they have lived a hard life yet are still surviving! Thanks so much for linking up this week and I look forward to seeing more of your finds. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeletePlain old calves to go along with the barn. :-)
ReplyDeleteI really like the shot of the mowing machine. I feel like I need a drive in the countryside to look for a few beauties like this! Your barns are always wonderful.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, pretty farm and barn scenes. I love the second shot, a gorgeous scene! Have a happy day and new week ahead!

ReplyDeleteI see the hay bales peeking out. One of these day's I'll have a post about round hay bales.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful barns, Rose. I love each one. Hope you both have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteI like the one with the calves, because of the layered look of the boards, so much texture
ReplyDeleteA fine group of barn pictures. I like the textures on the one with calves. The mowing machine probably did a fine job in its day.
ReplyDeleteThe barns are filled with bales of hay. Beautiful place, fill with greens! I wonder how the mowing machine works...
ReplyDeletegreat old barns and farmsteads.
ReplyDeleteI too love the calves in front of the barn :)
