That Is exactly how I feel about sunflowers! Beautiful picture of this splash of sunshine on the ground! ( I have a similar post ready for this weekend ... You are going to think I copied you ;)))!
I too like Sunflowers. We have about 25 growing and blooming. All are volunteers this year.Bob dug up the baby volunteers and replanted them in rows in the garden. Still there are several volunteers growing where one wouldn't think. MB
I planted sunflower once when I was very much younger. I harvested the seeds and put it to dry. Later I found out the birds have cracked open the shells and ate all the seeds and left behind the shells only!
I don't care how many times I see a sunflower...each time is like seeing one for the first time! Mine have been gone for a while now but my son still had a few left in his garden. I really like the effect on your photo. Happy Wednesday :)
A beautiful image of this bright sunflower. I like your frame-filling composition and the fine detail you took in this picture. A very good job of shooting.
big ol' pincushion head!

After a vary grey wet day yesterday and a dismal morning so far today, I can use a little sunshine right now.
