The last of the sunflowers...

This will be my last sunflower to bloom...it is only about 3 feet tall.  The bloom will be very small...
This one is  eye-level now.  Probably 6-8 inches across.  I am sure the birds will devour it shortly.
I had to zoom in just a bit for the fun of it.

  4. While sorting through some junk I came across a packet of sunflower seeds and have made up my mind that I will definitely get around to planting them next year! Hope they are still OK to use.

  6. Oh yes...zooming in is when the fun begins! My sunflowers have long since passed but I took a few shots of some my son had left...all looking quite forlorn, I'm afraid. Going to try to figure out a better plan for planting them next year.

  7. Yep, the birds will have a banquet ... Or the squirrels if they get there first. They are currently feasting on my neighbors red one! Sunflowers really are the gift that keeps on giving!
