Coca-Cola

Just an old advertisement seen in Vermilion, Illinois.  I would love to know how old it actually is.  Probably not as old as I think, but then again, maybe it is with it being under the roof.  It has been protected a little bit from the weather.

  4. I love these. I see some painted on old barns here but they are pretty much faded out that you can't read them anymore.

  5. Wikipedia shows a wall-advert like this, with a hand holding a Coke bottle aloft, and says that it dates from 1943, so perhaps yours is of similar vintage. It's certainly redolent of that period.

  9. During my younger days, coca cola used to come in this bottle. Now they are all in cans. I loved to drink iced cold coca cola with a pinch of salt.

  11. That's a great sign. - It does look to have some "age" to it. I wonder if there is some way to find out how old the sign is.
