I am focusing on one barn that I had the opportunity to actually stop and photograph while up at Shipshewana...
I like these human sized doors...they always hold special appeal for me.
I felt the need to zoom in...
As well as to get a full side view.
Oh, and throwing this in for good measure...it was taken about 2 minutes later than the first barn.
I hope you enjoyed this post...

Yes, I most certainly enjoyed viewing this lovely barn as well as the two minutes away one. We don't have many here so it is always a treat to see others posting theirs. Great images!
ReplyDeleteGreat old silvered wood on the first barn - love the second barn too - so many interesting old buildings around.
ReplyDeleteBoth of these beauties may be sliding into their finally years, but they show such character. The red one with the rusty roof gets my vote. Thanks Rose for sharing this week and I will look forward to your next installment.
ReplyDeleteGreat barn series, I like the weathered wood! Have a happy day!
ReplyDeletemy favorite thing about the gray barn is that rustic wood siding. i just love rustic buildings without paint. and the last two photos are frameable art in my book.
ReplyDeleteA fine barn series. I like how you showed us all sides of this barn. The last one is very good too.
ReplyDeleteYep, those weathered boards are terrific!
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome, Rose. Fantastic clarity in these images :)
ReplyDeleteWish we had barns like you do. They are awesome!
ReplyDeletea little leany, a little worn, just like all of us. :)
ReplyDeleteI like the weathered look of these barns, Rose. Glad you were able to STOP to take these photos. ;)
