This is an old scanned slide...Velvia I am 99% sure because of the saturation and the color. Its a so-so photo in so many ways, but oh, how I love the color.
This is another from the same year. Don't you love how bright the trees are compared to the dull grass?
Wow, they really 'pop'! Gorgeous!

Yes, beautiful color! I used Velvia for years. I remember testing it for a photo class assignment and finding it had superior latitude; the colors did not shift when underexposed although Kodak film did.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color. And what a dandy road to live on.

ReplyDeleteThe tree photos are amazing. I love the composition of the first one - the tiny pointed evergreen in the foreground and the house snuggled between the trees and the color in the second one witht he rusty old building in the background - fabulous - absolutely fabulous!!!! I've gotten way behind in my blog reading - trying to catch up with some of my favorites - and love your header.
ReplyDeletehow pretty!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful color missing from our landscapes. Very pretty trees. Now, if they could only stay that way longer.
ReplyDeleteThe color is gorgeous!!! I love your banner too.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. One of the trees we ordered is a sugar maple and I hope when it grows, it will be very colorful.
