I took these photos on Jan 27, actually stopping to take these.
Do you remember this barn? I posted another of it on Jan 16, but those were drive-bys. What is funny, I was so focused on the barn at that time that I did not realize one of my sisters lived here for a while. We went back on purpose to look for the home--I laughed when I saw it was the one that went with this barn. Maybe next time, if there is a next time, I will photograph the old home.
A nice assemblage of objects in that first shot. Old tractor seats, particularly the more ornate ones, fetch a good price at auction these days.
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll have an opportunity to photograph the home next time. That's a great barn. I love the displayed objects in the first picture, too.
ReplyDeleteHope you two enjoy your Saturday.
Deere art. :-)
ReplyDeleteThats is a good development to realize your sister used to live there. I'd like the green windmill in my yard! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI've done things like that, not realizing something until I actually looked at the whole "picture" :)) I'd say they are John Deere lovers at least one is :)
ReplyDeleteI am loving the shot of the 'farmers art'... to cool and they threw in a fireplug to...
ReplyDeleteGreat bar pic. Funny that one of your sisters lived there at one time. In the house I mean.
ReplyDeleteEagles seem to not pay attention to the rain--well unless it is a storm I suppose---it rains here a lot. they do like to cruise in the rain and also they like to chase around in the wind.

Yes, you think a John Deere lover. A great collection of artefacts and finds.
ReplyDeletefunny you looked at the barn and didn't recognize her former home. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a neat barn that is well cared for. The scene of all the items outside the garage looks like one we can see here in Iowa when a farmer or retired person wants to decorate a little.
ReplyDeleteLike the ornaments!
