For some reason, Blogger will not bring u your new barn for me tonight. The agony never seems to end with Blogger. I am so tired of it. Anyway I will try tomorrow.Am gonna write you shortly. genie
Well, it finally came up. I am wondering if it is a working one or has just been left. I am thinking it is no longer in use. It is definitely a hodge lodge gate the way it is tied together.
Lots of stories in that photo! :-)

I love those kind of details; they send me right back to my farming days, over a quarter of a century ago.
ReplyDeleteAlmost looks like our old barn. Sagging there--propped up here. But willing and trustworthy.

Hello Rose! It is a great barn photo. I like the weathered wood and the peek inside. Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week ahead!
ReplyDeleteMy view....I LIKE it!!! How can anyone NOT like it? So many colors, textures, history involved too. A lifestyle, so to speak.
ReplyDeleteyou should already know i like it. and it is the sagging and falling down parts i like the best and all that rustic wood
ReplyDeleteI love barns and each one has something to behold like this one!
ReplyDeleteI see it as a super rural collage of shapes and textures Rose.
ReplyDeleteLots to like for my imagination wanders inside as to what treasures may lie within.
ReplyDeleteA fine shot that shows several kinds of line among other things. I like being able to peer into the darkened interior.
ReplyDeleteBeing a curious person, I would love to take a peek inside.
ReplyDeleteRose, I hope that you will link this at The Barn Collective.
ReplyDeleteInteresting!
ReplyDeleteI like it, and I think Charlotte's Web would go perfectly in that doorway. "SOME PIG" I can see it now!

ReplyDeleteA well worn building. It grayed the building to a great color.
ReplyDeleteI love this, that fence, rust and the old weathered wood.
ReplyDeleteI always wonder just when and why things were left around old barns and never used again.
