What an amazing round barn!
ReplyDeleteSeldom sees round barns. Are they doing repair work to the barn that is falling apart and the old school? That will involve lots of hard work to restore the barn.

Great buildings - I love the round barn. We once saw a round barn made of field stones in Wisconsin.
ReplyDeleteThe building that really caught my eye was the old one room schoolhouse with its wonderful green roof. Maybe it is going to be restored. Why would this new roof be on it otherwise? I would love going to that farm museum. That is one of the few round barns I have ever seen. The other building around it do not look to be in very good condition. Love that you put the pirate's picture at the top of your blog. It is SOOSOSO cute.

ReplyDeleteI would love to find a round barn---none out here. Dang! Thanks for throwing in the old schoolhouse. The schoolhouse on the Ranch finally fell down. So sad I think.

ReplyDeleteThis is actually my grandpas farm yes some is falling apart but you got to understand it’s a vary old buildings it is hard to restore old buildings but at least my grandpa saved these buildings from getting tear down my grandpa saved history from getting tear down
ReplyDeleteAnonymous! So glad you commented. We absolutely loved this place. We would have been back, probably more than once but my husband had a stroke in 2016. I so would love to go back at some point. I LOVED everything there. I found it amazing that he had saved all he saved. I just could never get tired of looking and thought it one of the best places I have ever come across.
