From the Skinner Farm Museum & Village once again...

For the Barn Collective, I am choosing to show more from the Skinner Farm Museum once again.  First this round barn...and notice the old rusty barn in the background.
Have to include this zoomed in shot.
Then we have this old building..
It is falling apart at the seams.
Though this is an old school, I am throwing it in as a bonus.

All three of these buildings were moved here from other places.

Linking to the Barn Collective.

  1. Seldom sees round barns. Are they doing repair work to the barn that is falling apart and the old school? That will involve lots of hard work to restore the barn.

  5. These are great looking barns and buildings. The falling apart building needed the closer view to appreciate the amount of destruction it has sustained.

  8. A round barn wow.

I am still in winter so not much to take with barns and fences.

Everyone else who puts things up as you do. Is unique.

Mine is the simple not unusual. Unless I go miles I guess.

Enjoy your weekend. Thank you for dropping in and making a comment.

  9. Great buildings - I love the round barn. We once saw a round barn made of field stones in Wisconsin.

  10. The building that really caught my eye was the old one room schoolhouse with its wonderful green roof. Maybe it is going to be restored. Why would this new roof be on it otherwise? I would love going to that farm museum. That is one of the few round barns I have ever seen. The other building around it do not look to be in very good condition. Love that you put the pirate's picture at the top of your blog. It is SOOSOSO cute.

  13. Anonymous! So glad you commented. We absolutely loved this place. We would have been back, probably more than once but my husband had a stroke in 2016. I so would love to go back at some point. I LOVED everything there. I found it amazing that he had saved all he saved. I just could never get tired of looking and thought it one of the best places I have ever come across.

I was not trying to be critical with anything...was just making a statement.

I just happened to come to see if anyone had commented. I have to moderate comments because I got these horrible anonymous comments that started with Covid. And blogger does not always let me know when a comment is awaiting moderation.
