We drove through the strip pits...this is one of the few shots that I took.  I love seeing these birds.

He has a mini rhino horn

In all my years of seeing/catching June bugs, I had never noticed their little horn till I took this photo this past summer.  When we were kids, we would catch them, tie a string to their leg, and then hold on to the string and let them try to fly around our head.

A spot of color

I don't know about where you are, but here it is a chilly, dreary day.  This splash of color is appealing to me.
