Today's barns...

After going out for lunch after church, we took a round-about way to get home.  I wanted some new barn pics...

Being that we were in Illinois farmland, barns are a little bit spaced out over there...I love the big old oak tree!

This is not a great pic, but it is a great barn.  The middle of the day is just not the time to take nice pics...

I thought I would try joining Tom's Barn Collective again...hopefully I will get to visit everyone.  Thanks Tom for keeping the meme alive!

    Hi Rose, I know all about taking the round-about way home, I do it all the time. Today I was out barn hunting and saw several that looked like your first one with the asphalt siding. That stuff is as old as I am! Every week I'll be here, so please stop back whenever you can.

    Wonderful! What an awesome post to start the year! The second picture... WOW, the tree, and the shadow of the tree on the barn and roof...it is absolutely stunning!! And your pictures are so sharp! Are you using that HDR or whatever it is called? Welcome back!!

    That first one looks as though it's more "yesterday's barn", though it makes a fine scene. I really like the shadow on the second barn.
