A baby robin! And you raised one,how cool!!!! The babies are so cute with their short tails, and always frowning. Your adult is all puffed up and looking a bit cold. Each year I write on the calendar the day I see the first robin.
There's one scolding in our yard right now. Such a lovely sound to hear in spring. We had them on and off all winter as we had a heated bird bath out for them, but they didn't make any sound. They need fresh water several times a day.
Wonderful photos. I do love seeing your birdlife.

ReplyDeleteRobins tend to show up every spring. You're a big group of robins showed up and then to move all as spring had not yet developed.
ReplyDeleteThe first Robin is definitely a sure sign of spring.
ReplyDeleteI'm seeing them from my sewing room making their nests under our deck.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos Rose! When I was a kid we raised a Robin too.
