Of all things, the robin has built a nest in my wisteria vine at the end of my front porch. If I ease the door open, she always looks at me like this. I can get my mail and she stays there, but if I step out she flies. Consequently, we mostly sit on the back porch when we have a minute.

ReplyDeleteThose danged Robins usually make their nests in the most awkward places. And most humans try to accommodate them by giving as much privacy as possible. For several years our Robin has returned to her nest on a post that holds the door to our carport. It's out of the way, but a bit inconvenient when we want to pass through to the back yard. We LOVE our robins.

Such a cute picture of the Robin. We had one last year build a nest over the light on the front porch.
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of robins at our place and they are all so active as they dart around looking for bugs and worms after I have mown the grass.
