There is nothing quite as inviting as a road stretching out ahead...whether it is empty
Some have bends and curves...
some are straight...
Some have treasures beside them....
Others are ahead around the bend....
Yep, I love roads and consider them treasures beyond measure.

Oh that gorgeous tree!!! And the beautiful country roads with the dark and looming sky. Moody, gorgeous, lonely, and irresistible.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots, Rose! What camera do you use?
ReplyDeleteGreat roads! What a great 'treasure' to post. I never thought about lovely sights in that particular way. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteAhh, that post spoke to me, Rose. My father used to say, even when I was a little girl, that there was some gypsy in me. He didn't think it was a good thing! But I think he could have been right. An empty road ahead always beckons. The road less travelled is always the road for me! Every single one of your roads would entice me.
ReplyDelete...roads and some nice backroads, just what a love! Thanks Rose for for sharing these lovely treasures. I hope to see you again.
ReplyDeleteI love these pics, Rose. Hard for me to choose a favorite.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots Rose!
ReplyDeleteHave a good day!
Robin
you forgot to mention all roads have SKY and yours are beautiful. my favorite is the one with the trees contained in the white picket fence
ReplyDeleteHello, love the dramatic skies and the views of the road and trees. Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteOh Rose you are a gal after my own heart. How I love roads also. I love taking pictures right out of the front windshield of the car----"Country Roads Take Me Home'---right?
ReplyDeleteExcept it is flat there and I find that amazing.

Exceptional photos of the roads. That last one is my favorite of these.
ReplyDeleteYou made this unusual subject very interesting, I find group of pictures to support your view. Open roads make me want to head down them.
ReplyDeleteThose roads beckon me to check them out. I love the dark skies as well.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots!
ReplyDeleteI thought you were capturing those great skies!
ReplyDeleteI especially like the country roads. We used to travel on some until we didn't know where we were. As long as I am in south Texas I will eventually come to a road or town I am familiar with.
ReplyDeleteOh yes! You know what I love.
ReplyDeleteOh I totally agree with you. Great photos!!
ReplyDeleteThe roads less traveled are sometimes a good road to be on. Rose, your pictures are simply wonderful.
