These little sewing machines are a prized possession of some quilters. They are supposed to be super little sewing machines. A lot of quilters like the Featherweight because it is so easy to take to classes. I think they are beautiful.
Linking to Tuesday's Treasures.
It looks like one of the very old ones, but is new? Kind of retro?
ReplyDeleteIt does look very nice.
ReplyDeleteCute... very similar to my mom's old sewing machine.
ReplyDeleteLooks new and its portable. I have a sewing machine of the same brand but with leg paddle.

ReplyDeleteit is a little beauty, my mother and my grandmother sewed on singers all my life.
ReplyDeleteMe too, they are beautiful! Super photo Rose. I remember my grandmother had a singer with the treadle. I loved it even back then. Used to love hearing it whirl as she used it.

ReplyDeletehave you been making any goodies lately? neat machine, i've seen them n antique stores. ( ;
ReplyDeleteYes, it is a NICE looking machine.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely old machine! I'm sure 'feather light' back then isn't the same as the sewing machine I bought lately that only weighs a few pounds. :)
ReplyDeleteI love mine - it is truly a treasure. I often take it out on the deck and sew doll clothes with it - easy to carry and fun to stitch on.
ReplyDeleteUma peça de museu.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e boa semana.

Simple beautiful! And made in Germany :)
ReplyDeleteI think they are beautiful too, Rose. And the Singer reminds me of my mom, who used to make many of my clothes growing up. She was such a good seamstress.
