A few barns from the past...
In this post I am posting barns, most of which have been posted before. But probably before I knew most of you as fellow bloggers.
They were taken on a mini-vacation...on the way home. All through the windshield. (I don't think I have ever posted the above...it is not a very good photo technically, but isn't it a great barn?)
Here I am showing a couple shots of the same barn.
I would love to know what this barn was used for. In the first shot you can see the great lake behind it. I think it is Lake Michigan.
I think I will end with this one...I hope you have enjoyed them.
I will be linking to the Barn Collective.
The first barn is HUGE!! The next to last one looks like a house! Great and unusual barns!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy your barn pictures.
ReplyDelete...Rose, 3 & 4 won me over, it's aged to perfection. Thanks for sharing this week!
ReplyDeleteHello, I love these old weathered barns. The last red barn is a favorite.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday, enjoy your day!
Lovely barn series. Some look like houses.
ReplyDeleteI think I may to go on a photo drive today. You've inspired me.
ReplyDeleteThat first barn has an unusal cement base. All of them are good examples of barns.
ReplyDeleteThat one as beginning rust that might be a problem some day.
The first one is massive. Nice find.
ReplyDeleteNice old barns. I like them all.
ReplyDeleteI love the grey one with the windows... glad you got more than one shot of it.
ReplyDeleteThe shape of your first barn is my favorite - so common for this side of the pond. They have all interesting features:)
ReplyDeleteThey are sure older barns. The red one is close to looking like my dad's barn on the farm. It is now gone but not forgotten.
ReplyDeleteI wonder why the barns are so huge. Must be large farms as well. :) Or, were!
