A cemetery in Indiana...I think in Parke County.

  1. Oh MY! This is a fantastic, moody, beautiful, and sorrowful photo. It should be in a travel magazine.

  5. A fine black-and-white picture of this cemetery. I like the big drooping tree.

  6. Rose, some people find the cemetery a bit creepy, but I often go there to see my mom and dad. It's peaceful, and I get to say hello to them once again. Black and white pictures are always so special.

    Happy June days, Rose.

  10. I love old cemeteries. When I have to wait for a train at an intersection near my house, I always look at the headstones in the cemetery next to it. Looking at the names, most Amish/German, and reading the dates always makes me wonder what life was like for them. My grandmother was born in 1884. I often wonder what Chicago was like then, where she and I were born.
