So THIS is what these flowers are! So, do fleas live in them or what?
i looked it up and found this: The name appears to be derived from a belief that the dried plants repelled fleas or that the plants were poisonous to fleas. It is a type of daisy.
Such a crisp, clear photo. When I am walking Theo, I see this growing along the roadside.
...they are everywhere here, what a delight.
this would be a great flower to do the "he loves, he loves me not" ... i have not done that in years. so happy! i love happy flowers. ( :
the bane must work, I don't see any fleas...he he he
I love this plant. In Dutch it is a Madelieffijnstraal :-)
Pretty little flowers. I learnt something new today concerning the plant's benefit of repelling fleas.
A fine close up of these beautiful flowers. Lorelei must have been good to have around the playground.
I love these little daisies, they are everywhere. You took a great photo of this pretty wildflower. Great macro :)
I found out what these little lovelies were called when I wrote my first ever blog post. You have captured them very well!
Wonderful photo Rose!
Very nice picture. I didn't know what they were called, but now I do. Lots of them around here too.
Another simple flower and yet it is so beautiful.
Beautiful capture. Pretty depth of the picture.
Perfect picture!
These are so pretty, Rose. They look similar to the daisy, which reminds me of my mom. : ) I hope you had a nice time with Lorelei. ~Sheri
