My irises like this have been gone for at least a week, maybe two. They got so beat up by the hard rains that I did not get a decent photo this year. This is one of my favorites. Sometimes, depending on how the light hits it, it looks almost black. Other times, you can see the purple colors.
How many colors do you have? I have never seen a more beautiful picture of an iris!!! Simply gorgeous!!!
