Do you see it?
Notice the back corner has a prop holding it up!
This was taken in 2008, and other than I am pretty sure it was in Parke County, I have no idea where it was at.
I hope you don't mind the next two photos.
It is the same barn featured last week? or the week before.

The last two are beautiful.True country photos. And I love the hay off to the side. The first one is sad!
ReplyDeleteBut the first one must have been something in it's heyday! It had a beautiful roof. Not many barn roofs are like that.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. I like them in colour as well as in b&w.
ReplyDeleteI like your barn shots Rose. Beautiful in their day and there is a certain beauty about them now even in this state.
ReplyDeleteI love all the photos, Rose. Hope you two have a nice Sunday.
ReplyDeleteI love barn and these are feast to eyes! great support from the prop
ReplyDeleteCool photos...
ReplyDeleteI did not see the prop until you mentioned it. hope it is still standing. and I love the last two, remember we don't all see barns like you do
ReplyDeleteIt's fine looking barn in color or black-and-white. I think it's goiing to need more than a simple prop very soon.
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine trying to prop up a barn. All shots are great.

Nice looking barns. I like the b&w photos too! Have a beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteHello, nice barns! I like the barn in the third photo. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday, enjoy your day and the new week ahead!
The old barn is well suited to a black and white photo.
ReplyDelete...do I mind, are you kidding? They are all wonderful, but the last one gets my vote. We are into recycling here at The Barn Collective. Thanks Rose and recycle all you want.
ReplyDeleteInteresting to see the color and black/white versions
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
That old barn looks weathered, like it's going to fall down at any time.....but charming at the same time. I love the countryside around it. Taking drives in the country is a must for me, and you have reminded me to do just that. : )

I caught that board propping up the back corner right away - it is something I often look for when seeing barns - wondering just how they manage to stay standing. Lovely old barn. And I never mind seeing a barn again and again - gives me time to study them and see more details. B&W is always a treat - so much to see. Have a grand week.
