Look close....

Do you see it?

Notice the back corner has a prop holding it up!

This was taken in 2008, and other than I am pretty sure it was in Parke County, I have no idea where it was at.

I hope you don't mind the next two photos.

It is the same barn featured last week?  or the week before.

  1. The last two are beautiful.True country photos. And I love the hay off to the side. The first one is sad!

  2. But the first one must have been something in it's heyday! It had a beautiful roof. Not many barn roofs are like that.

  4. I like your barn shots Rose. Beautiful in their day and there is a certain beauty about them now even in this state.

  8. It's fine looking barn in color or black-and-white. I think it's goiing to need more than a simple prop very soon.

  12. The old barn is well suited to a black and white photo.

  15. That old barn looks weathered, like it's going to fall down at any time.....but charming at the same time. I love the countryside around it. Taking drives in the country is a must for me, and you have reminded me to do just that. : )

  16. I caught that board propping up the back corner right away - it is something I often look for when seeing barns - wondering just how they manage to stay standing. Lovely old barn. And I never mind seeing a barn again and again - gives me time to study them and see more details. B&W is always a treat - so much to see. Have a grand week.
