Hollyhocks

These photos are from our drive the other day.

I think they are just gorgeous...I used to have a few but do not have a single one now.

and this photo shows how they were used to make a beautiful setting for the mailbox.

  3. When I see a Hollyhock,I am instantly taken back to when I was about 8-10 years old and wandering through my Mom's flower garden. The Hollyhocks were large and seemed to almost tower over memoir maybe I was just short.I love them so much. I have one plant, that came up as a volunteer so I have no idea what color it will be.

  4. The color is gorgeous!! We have actually dug up hollyhocks from a roadside field and planted them in the yard.

  5. The hollyhocks are very pretty, Rose. I love their soft pink color. Your flower pictures always shows the tiny details of the bloom, and it's so fun to look closely and see the wonder of it all.

  6. Our hollyhocks have disappeared this year, but the Head Gardener here explained that they're biennials, so it's just an off year.

  14. Liebe Rose,
    Alles Liebe
