  7. There is nothing like a home grown tomato and just a little salt.....and just eat it plain! My dad grew bell peppers and tomatoes in his garden, Rose. These look nice and ripe.

  8. I've gotten to dislike store-bought tomatoes so much I won't buy them. Fresh, vine-ripened, or nothing! Beautiful colors, nicely composed.

  9. Oh gosh, aren't they beautiful! When we stopped planting a garden, my father in law supplied us with more than we needed. No one in the family puts a garden out anymore and the produce in the store is pretty high. They are building a new Aldi store here. It will have cooled produce bins which most Aldi don't have so I'm hoping they will have great prices AND great produce when it opens.
