There is nothing like a home grown tomato and just a little salt.....and just eat it plain! My dad grew bell peppers and tomatoes in his garden, Rose. These look nice and ripe.
Oh gosh, aren't they beautiful! When we stopped planting a garden, my father in law supplied us with more than we needed. No one in the family puts a garden out anymore and the produce in the store is pretty high. They are building a new Aldi store here. It will have cooled produce bins which most Aldi don't have so I'm hoping they will have great prices AND great produce when it opens. xx, Carol

ReplyDeleteI've gotten to dislike store-bought tomatoes so much I won't buy them. Fresh, vine-ripened, or nothing! Beautiful colors, nicely composed.
