Pandorus Sphinx Moth..not Lime-Hawk Moth

Our daughter sent these to me earlier today...from where she works.  I thought it was a Lime-hawk moth but now not sure at all.  I forgot to ask her what she had found.

I think it is gorgeous...

There are some woods not far from where she works, it is on the edge of Terre Haute.  Anyway, she has visitors quite often of this sort.  You can see a couple of other moths Here and Here...

    Eumorpha Pandorus or Pandorus Sphinx. That is what the moth is. It is amazing! Looks like it is wearing an army camouflage uniform!!!

    Stunning is the word that comes to mind for the moth... I also took a look at your 2 links. I've never seen moths so large.... beautiful.

    I have never seen anything like it. I will send this to my friend whose husband works for the govt counting butterflies. she will know. this is an amazing moth and stunning photo of it. feels like I could touch it.
