I am not sure if I dare link to The Barn Collective... I hate to link and then not have time to visit the others. But I am going to attempt it again....this barn is in Parke County. I have posted other pics of it, but this is a new photo. The red building is a new addition.
Here I zoomed in a bit...
Another barn in Parke County...not too far from the first barn.
And another view where I zoomed in....
Wow, the old and the new together. I have never seen a barn like this. The whole area and the trees are beautiful as well.
ReplyDeleteThe new barn is certainly in keeping with old. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteVery nice barn photos, Rose. It's nice when you are out with Roger driving to be able to play along with the barn meme.
ReplyDelete...how dare you not! I could find these scene around here, most of the corn has been harvested. Those storage bins are beginning to hold the corn crop. Thanks Rose for stopping by, wishing your a wonderful Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteI like the old barn much better than the new, but I do understand the new.. more space and different technology now than way back when. I like the red doors that ties them together. I bet the red one will not last as long as the old one. these are beautiful barns and photos ... your reason is the reason I rarely join meme's.
ReplyDeleteThese are fine pictures of these barns. The older one looks to be very good shape with an excellent roof. A fine set for the barn collective.
ReplyDeleteHello, I like the first photo with the old barn with the red doors and the new red building. Pretty scenes and photos. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and new week ahead. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteI like the first photo the best - such a pretty scene!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Sometimes I post and then just cannot comment on others but like you---I try. Love the pop of red on the barn doors

There's just something about a red barn, isn't there? You have many barns around your neck of the woods, and you live in such a spacious area where you can look out and see so much.
ReplyDeleteHave a restful Sunday, Rose.

Wonderful barns!
ReplyDeleteBarns one of my favorite things. Carol
ReplyDeleteWonderful red barn.
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel about not posting when life gets busy. Basically, that's why I stopped posting for a while, but you shouldn't let it bother you. For the most part, people are very understanding. I got a nasty comment from someone because I didn't comment on hers after she commented on mine. Made me want to stop altogether. I shouldn't have let it bother me so much. Your barns are wonderful. I love all the shots, but really like the old barn. Sadly, too many of them are falling down and being replaced with new ones. Hope all is well with you and your husband. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteGood shots.
ReplyDeleteNice countryside pix!
ReplyDeleteI like the red building. I think the current fad is to say it "pops."
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you decided to link....nice barn photo. I feel the same way about replying to other bloggers. There simply isn't enough time many days to reply to every comment, but I continue to share what I photograph.
