I love spring, when things spring to life, and I love snow and how even ugly things can be made beautiful with a blanket of snow, but oh, fall is the season that I want to linger...if it last half the year, I would not be mad at all.
Here in NW Washington we have a long, long Autumn. They say we have 5 months of spring, and five months of Autumn, with a month of summer and a month of winter thrown in, in no particular order. And sometimes it seems like that. Our spring and Autumn do last a long time - gives us plenty of time to enjoy. Gorgeous photo. Happy weekend. We are expecting rain - so planning accordingly - lots of fun stuff to do indoors on rainy days.
Beautiful leaf! And it looks HUGE!!! I do not like winter coming! But like they say, if there were no winter, then we wouldn't appreciate the spring as much.
So pretty. Fall has always been my favorite season. Rain on 2 days this week made most of our colorful leaves fall. John blew off our driveway and porch yesterday when the sun finally came out.
