Remember Mabel... .

I always told Lorelei that she was Charlotte's cousin that moved to the city.

We watched her grow all one summer.

She grew....

And grew some more...

The first photo was taken on Sept 3 and the last one on October 11....I have watched for relatives every summer since that year but so far no luck. You know she had to leave lots of children behind with that body of hers!

  6. i do not like spiders and she would not have been left there, but she really is a beautiful specimen. i could not sleep with her outside my house. they are quiet commong here, but not in the town part where we are, out east sometime they hang by the dozens from the power lines. EXCELLENT photos of your friend Mabel, Charlottes cousin. i wonder if she is a first cousin or a first cousin once removed

  13. Colorful! I don't mind spiders so long as they stay outside and avoid building webs attaching my truck to the bushes.
