Week before last was Lorelei's spring break....since I had a spring break of a different kind, she went to stay with her aunt in St. Louis. They went to an orchid show, and this is one of the photographs Lorelei took. Not bad for a 9 yr. old.
I am only using my chromebook right now...so have not did anything at all to the photo. It was taken with her phone.

I still can put no weight on my foot. The wound from the fracture blister is not pretty to look at. The doctor fears if I wore a walking boot that it would make the wound worse. My sanity is hanging on by a thread.
I am so very sorry!!! How is the pain? Lorelei seems to be taking after her grandmother with her talent for photography.
ReplyDeleteI hope that you're soon feeling better. Having a nine-year-old emissary from the outside world must be an aid to maintaining your sanity. That's an excellent photograph, Lorelei.
ReplyDeleteI hope you heal rapidly---- Somehow the juxtaposition of the vulture to your words... well, let's just say, I hope you feel better soon. And yes, it is a fine picture of that beautiful orchid.
ReplyDeleteSo very sorry about your foot and continue to pray. Lorelei is a talented photographer. This is a gorgeous shot of the orchid.
ReplyDeletepraying for sanity for you right now and for healing for that wound. Lorelei can't be 10 years old.. wow... she is following in her grandmothers footsteps with her photography skills. beautiful orchid and beautiful photo. hang on to that thread you are hanging by. love you Rose

...a 'budding photographer!' You 'spring break' is heartbreaking!
ReplyDeleteLorelei took a fine picture of that blossom. I am very sorry for your continued problem with your foot. Everyone on the picture net is pulling for you.
ReplyDeleteHang in there Rose. These are the times that try our souls. Least we persevere, we perish. I know you can persevere. Carol
ReplyDeleteLorelei did an excellent job of taking that picture. I know you must be anxious to get on with life, but in the end, the wait will be worth it.,
ReplyDeleteGreat photo by Lorelei.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that your foot is giving you so much trouble. I pray it heals quickly.
Lorelei took really a lovely shot on orchid! Take enough rest and the blog could wait for sometime :)
ReplyDeleteLovely picture. Pretty cool that a 9 year old would have interest in taking a pic of a flower. Can you use one of those scooters to get around...like the one I used with my foot surgery? It was a blessing to have it. I have kept your injury and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeletexx, Carol
