I have posted photos of this barn several times before but for the life of me I cannot find a single one of them...
These were taken this summer..
And this one is up in that area...just a few miles away. I would love to get out on a ramble and go up there and see what is left of the first photo.

ReplyDeleteWeird coincidence--- I put on an old barn today as well, but it's in better shape. I like these images.
ReplyDeletethe first pic reminds me of a barn we pass by when we go to Elkhart. About 10 years ago we would see Turkey Buzzards....10s of them...sitting on the roof. Over the years the roof has caved in and the TB have moved on to another barn up the road. I'm always sad to see a barn deteriorate. Maybe because Terry always talks about wanting a barn. As if a three stall garage/workshop full too full to walk through wasn't enough. I had to laugh when we drove to Plymouth to buy used parts for the Wheelhorse. The guy had a large barn with lofts on the side clear to the top that were lined with old wheelhorses. I don't know why Terry never asked him how he got them up on those "shelves".

the poor old barn is looking sadder by the day.. once it was a beauty and for me, it still is. I love it..... the search bar doesn't help with finding a specific barn, does it.
