I should have tried to manipulate this photo, but did not think of it. I just like the way it shows the size in comparison to the trees.
This shot is a tad blurry but the best I could do taken from the passenger side almost directly to the side. The top photo is from a moving vehicle, too, but more a straight on shot.
...we have a lot of them here. You either like them or hate them, I like them.
ReplyDeleteWe build them in our state so we see the different parts go by on the backs of trucks. They are huge and can be seen for many miles.
ReplyDeleteI like it the way it is, I love the way the one paddle disappears into the fog.. and it does give perfect perspective of its height
ReplyDeleteI think people don't realize how huge these are, and your shot shows that well. Did you know that the leading edges of the blades are being corroded by dirt and air? Repairmen have to go around now and put special tape on them. I love how that one blade is behind the fog!

Those are some huge pieces of equipment. We have some both to the east and the west of where I live.I enjoy watching them when I am in the area.
