From 60 mph

This is a cropped portion of the photo below....it was taken on our way to Paris last year.  I just hold my camera up and sometimes sort of look, which I know I must have with this, but sometimes I just hold it up and snap.  (It is a P & S)

As you can see the other cars were not that close...I do not do this if there is traffic around me,  not even if it is behind me.  Not out on highways like this.  I don't think it is a terrible shot for the circumstances.

  1. Great shot - I'm not usually that lucky when I just point at something and click, usually I get something sideways.

  2. Nice picture. I quite like to see these pictures of the everyday things in foreign places. It wouldn't work in England though; you never see a road as empty as that, less still one that's straight!

  3. Many of my best shots are just holding the camera up pointed in the general direction that I want! This one is just lovely.

  4. it really came out well as point and shoot. I like to do that to. but here the roads are always full of cars, so the only thing I would get is cars and more cars.

  7. Point and shoot and don’t look, that’s how it has to happen sometime. I drive over a bridge, mile long, that is over a lake. The only way I can photograph it is to use this method. It is funny as to what I get sometimes.
