A bend in the road


I did a double-take on the date this photo was taken...it looks like spring green to me, but was actually taken in October of 2010.  Nevertheless, a bend in the road always calls to me.  It always has...I can remember as a little girl wondering what was around the curve.

    OH, it is gorgeous! Stunning luminous greens. I, too, always wonder what is around the bend of a country road. And do you remember what was around this one?

    The kind of photo that always appeals to me as I wonder what's just around the corner. Though it's often been said that I'm "around the bend" already!

    this is a beautiful bend in the road, that would be a good place to walk and stare at trees. of course staying far of the road until you could see what is coming would be necessary.. life's bends in the road are like that, here we are on our winding road and BAM a car comes around on our side of the road.

    I wouldn't have guessed fall until you said it then you can see the leaves on the ground. A unique color green. I do the same thing still and it is not easy to go on a road trip with me for that (and a very bad sense of direction) very reason.
