This is one of my favorite spots on earth...I just wish it was closer to home. Though it is only about 25-30 minutes away....still its not a place I can just go pop by. This view looks north....don't know why I don't take one looking south, because it is on both sides of the road. The road runs through it, just barely big enough for two cars to pass. We seldom see more than one car while there.
All the way across there were geese....they were so far I couldn't tell what they are till I zoomed in with my camera.
There were two different pairs...
Canada Geese. I think I would spend all my time here! What treasures it must hold.
ReplyDeleteNothing compares with watching wildfowl. Our wetlands are fairly quiet at this season - if anywhere with nesting geese can be called quiet!
ReplyDeleteIt looks quiet and peaceful there
ReplyDeleteI would love it to. our favorite swamp is only 10 miles but it is 30 plus minutes of horrid traffic to get there. in the past we went at least once a month. now we have not been in years.
ReplyDeleteMuito importante estes pântanos para os ecossistemas.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e um bom fim-de-semana.
