A visitor...

As we were leaving yesterday, I noticed this little Goldfinch.  I so love to see them.

I have a very hard time zooming in and holding steady...

Still not too bad.

  1. Wonderful shots, Rose. I love these little birds too. They love the coneflowers and blackeyed Susans!

  2. Very good shots with great clarity! We have goldfinches that visit our water fountain and drink out of the top where the water flows out. Nice to see, but they are too far to get as good a shot as you have here.

  3. These are wonderful images. The goldfinch are eating the seeds from my cone flowers but I have yet to get a good picture! These are beautiful!

  5. And he is posing with this black prickly pouff! Which matches his black. This would make a great picture to hang up.

  9. During mid summer the Gold Fince disappear from the feeders. They returned just the other day. Most of the other birds are starting to come back too.

  15. Not bad at all - great pictures. The goldfinch really like the coneflower seeds. Ours haven't turned to seed yet.
