Me too. The rusty colors and aging metal induce nostalgia about an earlier America, even though the relatives' farms and farming communities where I spent happy childhood visits had no such structures.

I find it appealing. Maybe because, like the others said, it's from a time gone by.

when i think grain elevators i think tall round buildings, like silos, this is really an architectural wonder. i love the looks of it
