Unusual. I said to Phil that the cows are not standing under the full part of the tree to get shade. And he said no, the sun is over there, so the cows are actually in the shade. Quite an interesting picture puzzle for me!
It is a lovely image..The cows look so much at piece !! I tried to post comments on the Rust and the Drooping flower but the " I am not a Robot " tick..kept turning and turning and I was unable to post any comment. I had said that the flower was giving you a graceful bow to welcome you ! Let me see if this comment goes through Devi :))
Ah, the angle of the sun. When we moved to SW Washington, I'd spent most of my life about 800 miles south, and it was a shock to see the lower angle of the fall sun about a month earlier than I was expecting!

It's a good thing there aren't more of them. They would need a bigger shade tree.

It must have been quite a warm day as they all try to squeeze into the shaded area! Great captures!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!! they are all fitting perfectly into that skinny piece of shade.. so smart, so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteCows always seem to crowd into any shade they can find. I feel bad for them when there is no shade in their pasture.
ReplyDeleteBelle photo campagnarde, j'aimme particulièrement l'arbre !
ReplyDeleteThe cows make the best use of the shade. Cool images.
ReplyDeleteI can't help wondering if that's the only shade in the entire pasture. If so, it's a good thing there weren't more cattle. It's a fun picture, though!
ReplyDeleteCattle will find any patch of shade. These are great pictures.
ReplyDeleteI always love how cows seem to congregate under trees. It is such a peaceful view.
ReplyDeleteThey are enjoying a rest in the shade! Doesn't look like that tree will be standing much longer.
ReplyDeleteThe girls are very smart to find the coolest place to be. And a storm the tree would be the last place they should be. I’m
