  4. Lucky leaf. To be the chosen one from thousands of others. I am deep into "O Rugged Land of Gold." I don't want to stop reading. It has been a rainy day here, so it was a good day for reading. I have a sore throat and don't feel worth a toot; may be a good day tomorrow to finish the book. Thanks for recommending the book!

  10. An oak for sure. Now I will have to check the species, but I am sure you are right! It's a lovely shot. My unsophisticated eye would probably just see a leaf on the ground, yours leaps to thoughts of contrast, balance and composition. Well done!
