  3. Wow, this one looks fantastic. It's certainly well maintained. We only have one left in the area. We had two but someone set in on fire several years back

  4. this is a really pretty one. we don't have them in the south, I assume because we don't need to keep ice off the bridges. bob says they have many of them in PA... I was just looking at your photo in your header, it says Time Stand Still on that gorgeous reflection photo. I had the thought, that photo could be now or 100 or 200 years ago. same peaceful view, as though time stands still there

  7. I enjoy seeing these as I don't think they exist anywhere in the UK, most of our bridges being made of stone or brick.

  9. I love seeing covered bridges. Reminds me of Icabod Crane in literature. Pretty angle for this photo.

  11. Since I have never been fortunate enough to see a covered bridge, I do appreciate the pictures. They have a special charm.

  12. No covered bridges around here, but I have seen a few in New England. They are always so picturesque as are your shots.

  13. I love covered bridges. This one is beautiful. Maryland doesn't have that many. I usually have to drive to Pennsylvania to see more covered bridges.
