I wonder who first thought of taking a quilt and nailing it to a barn. It seems a pretty random thing to do and an equally unlikely one to copy. However it does show these colourful creations off to good effect. I think I like the last one best because of the way its colours match the rusty roof.

The former owners of our newer house had a quilt design on the garage. I lots of my mom's old quilts but neither one of us are quilters. I have the design hanging in the garage and enjoy it there. It was the only quilt in the entire housing development.
We have so many barns here, but very few quilt ones. My favorite is the first, not just the quilt but the entire picture.
