Snow from another year...

I so wanted to get out and go for a walk, or go for a drive, but after all that has happened to us in the past 2 or 3 years I don't want Roger out when it is very slick at all.  I fear him falling and hitting his head.  So, I ran across this one and will post it instead.  I love when snow clings to everything and weighs it down.

  2. I'm sorry you can't get out for a walk or drive, but I love the picture. I tend not to go for walks when there's a chance of ice, so I think you made the right choice.

  3. As much as I dislike snow it can make for some pretty pictures. I don't blame you for not wanting to take Roger out when it's slippery.

  5. Snow is not something we have but I loved seeing it when visiting my daughter last year - even though she pointed out all its evils to me, I still found it beautiful.

  7. good idea to stay indoors for both of you... think FOOT... this clump of snow would make a great fur hat for a snowman.. just sit it on top of the head and put the nose and eyes on under it.

  12. I love to see snow but not near my house. It weighs down the tree limbs and breaks them. Same, with freezing rain except I don't like to see it.

  18. Glad you can enjoy precious snow memories via your beautiful photo. My husband, like you, is cautious about putting me into circumstances that could be unsafe given me physical challenges. If I insist on trying anyway, he reminds me that if I fall and sustain injury, he will be the one who has to take care of me. I can't argue with that so I usually succumb to his good sense.

May you and your husband have a Christmas filled with blessings and joy.
