I so wanted to get out and go for a walk, or go for a drive, but after all that has happened to us in the past 2 or 3 years I don't want Roger out when it is very slick at all. I fear him falling and hitting his head. So, I ran across this one and will post it instead. I love when snow clings to everything and weighs it down.

ReplyDeleteIt's such a pretty element of nature - when viewed from safety and warmth! YAM xx
I'm sorry you can't get out for a walk or drive, but I love the picture. I tend not to go for walks when there's a chance of ice, so I think you made the right choice.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I dislike snow it can make for some pretty pictures. I don't blame you for not wanting to take Roger out when it's slippery.
ReplyDeleteAW !! This looks lovely..like some baby bear ...furry...seated up there !!!

Snow is not something we have but I loved seeing it when visiting my daughter last year - even though she pointed out all its evils to me, I still found it beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI like the textural elements you have captured so well.
ReplyDeletegood idea to stay indoors for both of you... think FOOT... this clump of snow would make a great fur hat for a snowman.. just sit it on top of the head and put the nose and eyes on under it.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty photo. It is better to be safe than sorry. Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteA pretty picture. It is better to avoid going out in the snow where it can be very slippery.
ReplyDeleteLovely bunch of snow! Pretty image
ReplyDeleteA creative choice of snow laden material for thsi picture. I hope you get to go for a walk.
ReplyDeleteI love to see snow but not near my house. It weighs down the tree limbs and breaks them. Same, with freezing rain except I don't like to see it.
ReplyDeleteA splendid find in this snow creation!! Best to play it safe when it comes to safety.
ReplyDeleteGood idea to err on the side of caution. This is a lovely picture.
ReplyDeleteI like it!!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful photo! I think nature looks so magical with snow.
ReplyDeleteIt almost looks like fur muff!
ReplyDeleteThis looks beautiful in black and white! A lovely composition.
ReplyDeleteWhite, icy and cold-looking.
ReplyDeleteThat is lovely.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely photo, Rose. I wish I could see the snow more often. It's getting colder here though. : )

Glad you can enjoy precious snow memories via your beautiful photo. My husband, like you, is cautious about putting me into circumstances that could be unsafe given me physical challenges. If I insist on trying anyway, he reminds me that if I fall and sustain injury, he will be the one who has to take care of me. I can't argue with that so I usually succumb to his good sense.
ReplyDeleteMay you and your husband have a Christmas filled with blessings and joy.
