Looks like a painting, like 👍 it!
A rare find! Looks like it's legs are banded.
I hope you do get down there again, and that you have more opportunities to take more pictures. Fingers crossed.
We have just a few Common Cranes living wild in England, I see them very occasionally. Dig the colour-coordinated leg rings!
Hari OMWhoop! Whoop! YAM xx
How exciting to spot one. I've only ever seen them in pictures.
Hello,Great sighting of the Whooping Crane! Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy new week!
he looks a lot like our sandhill cranes, a tad different though.. hope you have a good day today
A beautiful bird which we don't get to see here.
This one is long-necked beauty. I hope you get to see them again.
A great find in this crane with its pristine plumage!! He stands out nicely against the grasses.
I have a personal fascination with large birds. I would love to encounter one of these. Beautiful!
NICE to the the crane. The red on it sure pops out.
It looks as if he is banded. Perhaps someone is doing a study of it's migration or life span. Nice shot.
nice wildlife shot. i don't believe i've seen a bird with these distictive markings before
That is such a special bird to see and get pictures of.
They are beautiful birds.
Majestic!Great capture of this endangered species. We have sandhill cranes several miles from us. They and the Whooping crane are the only two crane species native to America,I think.
Welcome to my part of the world...I hope you enjoyed your visit. I love feedback, so appreciate your comments.
