I love log cabins/houses. We have one in town and Andy's folks had one at Holland Lake in Montana. Andy helped build it when he was a teen. It was the scene of many family memories.
I love log cabin houses. Even the new versions of them that are abundant in our area. I went to the Google Machine to learn about Granny White. Since she lived in the Nashville TN area, I'd like to know more about why they call this The Granny White House. More Google Machine for me!! lol. You always send me on a search. xx, Carol
I even Googled it, and cannot find what the Granny White House is. This is a nice large cabin, though. It could be comfy and roomy.

Not a thing you ever see in the UK, though I have seen them in the Alps and Pyrenees. That looks a beautifully constructed example.
