I always throw a couple cups of seeds on the ground for the squirrels and also some of the other birds prefer to eat there. I don't know why these Cardinals were not up on the feeder...there was nothing else on them.
The house sparrow was there with them...

ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful pictures of the cardinals. For some reason this year more than in the past I have more ground feeders than birds eating from my bird feeder or platform feeder. This includes the cardinals. And those squirrels are little pigs!
