You do have a good eye for texture. It would be lovely sewn into a quilt, wouldn't it! On drying flowers. Yes, I hung them upside down in a dark closet and left them. The salvias, especially the blues did best, but even the zinnias still have nice color.
the organic detail would look great in a big print - probably larger than life. You are probably right that it would transfer well to batik, but at the expense of detail
